Research Interests
The goal of my research is to advance science and our understanding of natural systems while impacting management and policy. Much of my current research and interest focuses on ecology and demographics of harvested wildlife populations of a broad range of taxa with a particular emphasis on large mammals. My research focus has led to numerous opportunities to serve on science review teams, discuss relevant policies with decision-makers and elected officials, and address controversial and challenging conservation issues of national and international importance. My research program is inclusive with many partners. I promote and encourage collaborative approaches to problem solving and firmly believe in the value of shared success.
