Ethan Bartek
Ethan attended the University of Montana as an undergraduate, where he earned degrees in Wildlife Biology and Business Administration. While at UM, Ethan worked with Dr. Melissa Reynolds-Hogland and MPG Ranch on a black bear collaring project where he assisted MPG’s bear team in trapping, handling, and collecting collar data for a larger 5-year study. During that time, Ethan also began working with Dr. Millspaugh and his lab, as well as the Boone and Crockett Club on different camera review projects. Before moving out to Syracuse, Ethan did a summer of fieldwork in Wyoming (also for Dr. Millspaugh) collecting roadside vegetation data as well as ungulate counts for a project with the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
Outside of research, Ethan enjoys hunting, fishing, and hiking!
